A myriad of voices and languages ringing out across the Cormorant Building last weekend could only mean one thing. International Day was back!
The annual event has brought families from across the Defence Academy together for more than four decades, and celebrates the rich multicultural heritage represented each year on the Advanced Command and Staff Course (ACSC).
This year, 55 countries were represented alongside the United Kingdom’s ‘Home Nations’. Each country hosted a stand, celebrating their unique culture, colours, costumes and culinary delights.
A highlight of the first term for ACSC course members, International Day helps foster a strong community spirit and mutual understanding among course members and their families, celebrating both time-honoured partnerships and new friendships.
