About this course

ICSC(M) is part of the suite of wider Royal Navy (RN) professional Military Education, from Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC) through to the Advanced Command and Staff Course (ACSC).

ICSC(M) is comprised of two modules. Each module is residential and utilises tuition and syndicate work to ensure peer-to-peer learning is enabled.

Before you attend

This course has been designed for RN lieutenants with three-four years' experience. Also for Royal Marine captains and majors along with civil servants (minimum band D) working in Navy Command HQ, maritime related posts in the MOD, Defence Equipment and Support or the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. This also applies to international equivalents.
