About this course

ICSC(M) is part of the suite of wider RN professional Military Education, from Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC) through to the Advanced Command and Staff Course (ACSC).

ICSC(M) comprises a series of modules. The Foundation Module prepares students for the subsequent modules, which can be spread out to suit work commitments; a final consolidation week completes the course. The residential elements all utilise tuition and syndicate work to ensure peer-to-peer learning is enabled.

Before you attend

This course has been designed for RN lieutenants with 3-4 years' experience. Also for RM captains and majors along with civil servants (minimum Band D) working in Navy Command HQ, maritime related posts in the MOD, Defence Equipment & Support or the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
