About this course
This postgraduate course is delivered by Cranfield University on behalf of the Defence College for Military Capability Integration.
Explosives Ordnance Engineering MSc (EOE) specialises in explosive ordnance and engineering and offers advanced academic background necessary for you to contribute effectively to technically demanding projects in the field of explosives and explosives ordnance engineering.
You will be introduced to up-to-date and current research, which enables you to obtain a critical awareness to problem solving and capability to evaluate both military and commercial best practice in the field of explosives ordnance engineering.

You may also elect to undertake a number of standalone modules as opposed to an MSc, PgDip or PgCert, with or without the associated assessment, less for research tools and research phase. All applicants to courses that are wholly or partially delivered at Shrivenham must complete the BPSS (HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard V4 April 2014) prior to registration on the course or must already hold a security clearance level or higher.
Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) Certificate. If you require a visa to study in the UK may need to apply for an ATAS certificate to study this course. Refer to the Cranfield MSc web page for further detail.
Some visits are restricted to Five Eyes nations only.
Before you attend
You must have one of the following:
A degree in a science or engineering related subject or, exceptionally, with at least seven years' experience. If you are applying for entry to the MSc in EOE through the experiential route, then up to three successful completions of EOE modules as stand-alone accredited short courses can be used as part of the case to provide supporting evidence of academic ability for entry onto the MSc in EOE.
