About this course

A practical course using a syndicate exercise to consolidate learning set in the context of MOD acquisition contracts for equipment and services.

The course starts by considering the quality aspects of preparing a requirement with reference to a quality management plan. It focuses on setting quality conditions within a request for contract action.

The course is designed from the perspective of MOD project teams but provides useful awareness and insight for MOD suppliers and contractors.

This course will give you knowledge and understanding of managing contract quality requirements and completing a Request for Contract Action (RCA) within the Contracting Purchasing & Finance (CP&F) process.

It is a mandatory requirement for MOD employees who are required to be registered quality assurance signatories for contract action.

Before you attend

Review of JSP940, Part 2 - Requirements Preparation. Those new to quality are recommended to complete 2 foundation module workbooks that are titled Quality Awareness Training.

These workbooks form part of the Quality Development Scheme (QDS) that is managed by QCM(Pol).
